About the Event
Is your child mouth breathing, snoring, struggling with picky eating, speech challenges, restless sleep, crowded teeth, or difficulty focusing? These common childhood concerns may be connected to airway health and oral function.
Join us for an educational parent workshop designed to help families better understand the connection between breathing, tongue posture, swallowing patterns, oral habits, sleep, feeding, and overall development.
This workshop will introduce parents to the foundations of myofunctional therapy and how proper oral function can support a child’s growth, health, and daily well-being. Parents will learn how to recognize signs of oral dysfunction, understand how these patterns may impact sleep, behavior, feeding, speech, and dental development, and explore when professional support may be helpful.
During this workshop, parents will learn:
How mouth breathing, low tongue posture, tongue ties, and improper swallowing patterns can affect development
Why nasal breathing is important for sleep, behavior, focus, facial growth, and overall health
