Little Chefs Academy: Arepas with the Author

Join us at The Motherhood Village on Friday, July 10th at 1:00 PM for a special cultural cooking experience designed for children ages 5–10. Led by Ysabel Ortiz, M.Ed., founder of Future Minds Enrichment Academy and author of United Cultures, this unique event combines storytelling, cooking, and creativity.

Children will enjoy a live reading of United Cultures by the author, learn about cultural traditions through food, and make their own arepas. After cooking, they can enjoy their arepas with simple toppings such as cheese or butter.

The experience concludes with a creative art activity where children will draw themselves and share their favorite cultural food. This hands-on event celebrates diversity, culture, and creativity through stories and food.
