Little Picasso: Itsy Bitsy Spiders – Marble Painted Spider Webs
Get ready for a little spooky fun at Little Picasso! 🕸️
This week, our little artists will create their very own colorful spider webs using a fun marble-painting technique! Children will roll paint-covered marbles across black paper to create unique, colorful web designs. Then, they'll make a friendly spider using construction paper, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners to complete their masterpiece.
After crafting, we'll explore our Spider Web Rescue Sensory Bin! Little hands will use kid-friendly tongs to rescue plastic spiders tangled in a web of yarn and cotton batting. This hands-on activity encourages fine motor development, coordination, problem-solving, and imaginative play.
Designed for ages 2–5, Little Picasso combines process art, sensory exploration, and creativity in a fun, welcoming environment.
